“Des Grieux, played by dynamic tenor          Marcos Aguiar… in the gut wrenching aria ‘No, Pazzo    Son’, Aguiar’s voice becomes lean and primal, effectively        communicating his anguish at the thought of losing                             Manon…” The Salt Lake Tribune

Marcos Aguiar sang his first Otello in 2008 with the DuPage Opera Theater and with the Vero Beach Opera. He also appeared as Dick Johnson in Puccini’s La Fanciulla del West with the Di Capo Opera Theater, Canio in I Pagliacci with the Augusta Opera, Des Grieux in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut with the Utah Festival Opera in Logan, Utah, and most recently he performed the role of Turiddu in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana with the Mississippi Opera.
